A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy rose farthing of Charles I (1625-1649). Initial marks: illegible. Rose Type 1, 1636-1644 (North 1991: 165, refs: 2287-2290).

Obverse: CAROLVS D G MA BRI; Double arched crown with sceptres in saltire through it almost to edge of coin.

Reverse: FRAN ET HIB REX; Single rose surmounted by a crown.

Diameter: 13.0mm. Weight: 0.74g. DA=12:12.
