Early Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 8mm thick and 32mm in diameter with a weight of 47.04grams. The object is circular in form and rectangular in cross section, with crude angular stamped decoration on one face and a slight depression in the other face. The internal hole is 11mm in diameter. The whorl conforms to Walton Rogers form B.
