Late Medieval copper alloy Jetton, 26mm in diameter with a weight of 2.43grams. The Jetton is circular and in complete. It appears to be decorated with an orb in a scalloped border on one face and a quatrefoil centred cross with fluer terminals on the other.
It is probably late Medieval French and is similar to plate IV reverse 11 and 14 in Barnard, F.P. 'The casting counter and the counting board' .
