A fragment of a possible silver Roman denarius of an unknown ruler. The fragment is a small part of one edge of the coin, about a third of the original coin remains. The obverse depicts the back of a head, and the reverse depicts a standard or trophy. The break is worn, and the coin is now slightly dished.
