An incomplete copper alloy Belt Mount or Fitting of Post-Medieval date (AD 1600-1700). The mount is sub triangular shaped curving up to a central ridge, and has a knop projecting from the narrowed end. The knop has a narrowed neck, this has a raised collar. On the reverse there are two integral attachment prongs, one of which is worn and broken, the other is complete and tapers to a sharp point. A small amount of white metal coating is retained on the upper face of the object.

The metal has a dark green smooth patina.
