Medieval copper alloy pendant or mount, 24mm in length, 16mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 3.23g.

The object is rectangular in form and cross section with an integral circular suspension loop at the top and a possible incomplete one or a partial hinge mechanism at the bottom. The flat plate is decorated with a circle containing a dog or a lion? which is depicted walking left with its tail filling the field above its back. The whole of the surface contains traces of gilding.

The object is probably a form of attachment plate for a suspended harness pendant or similar. Similar items include BH-621B12, DENO-685B9A, and DOR-72EACE.
