Medieval copper alloy annular brooch pin, 44mm in length, 8mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 4.35grams. The object is rectangular in form and cross section, with a partial rounded, rectangular cross sectioned attachment loop projecting at one end . Behind the loop is a rectangular shaped projection which is decorated with a series of transverse ridges. Beyond this point the pin tapers in width to a blunted point with a semi-circular recess to enable it to rest on the brooch loop..
