A fragment of Roman copper alloy developed T-shaped brooch, dating to AD 75-150. This fragment consists of the head of the brooch only, with the cylindrical wings retaining a separate copper alloy axis bar and fragment of a hinged pin in situ. An incomplete, integral headloop projects from the top of the head. The bow expands from the head with a flat cross section, truncated almost immediately by an old break. An incised line delineates either wing tip, whilst the bow is decorated with a recessed rectangular field containing a reserved, incomplete lozengiform border defining a cell of the same shape. No enamel survives.
