Roman copper alloy Hod Hill, without side lugs brooch, 23mm long, 13mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 1.51g.

The brooch is incomplete, representing the upper half of the brooch and is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It has an inverted triangular upper section with a central rectangular recess in its upper edge to house the now missing pin. Below it widens out to form 'shoulders' and then gently tapers in width and curves, with three slight linear recesses at decoration. It is missing its foot and catch plate.
