A silver fourpence of Charles II (1660-1685), dated to 1679 on the reverse. The reverse has crowned four interlinked Cs quartered with emblems of England, Scotland, Ireland and France. The four Cs also indicated the value of the coin. Cf. Spink (2008) p.320, no.3384
