42 complete and snapped flint blades or bladlets of later Mesolithic date (6000BC - 3500BC). These blades are struck from a core and have the generic crested appearance on their dorsal faces. Many of the blades have been deliberately snapped through the removal of side notches and deliberate breaking. The underside / ventral face of each shows conchoidal rippling and some have evidence of bulb of percussion and / or striking platforms. None of teh blades have been retouched. The colour of the flint varies between light grey - dark black and some have a mily white coloured surface patina.

The largest blade measures: 19.7mm length, 28.7mm width, is 7.4mm thick and weighs 5.04 grams.

The smallest blade measures: 11.2mm length, 7.4mm width, is 1.5mm thick and weighs 0.16 grams.

The 42 blades have a bulk weight of 46.69 grams
