A lead alloy powder flask cap. This woud have been oval pan but is now squished and would have had two loops at the top but these are now missing. The cap probably dates to the 17th century (Courtney, P. 1988 'Small Arms Accessories of the mid Seventeenth Century' Finds Research Group Datasheet 11).
