Copper alloy sword belt hanger dating from the post medieval period, that is c. AD1500-1700.
The hanger is complete and in good condition. It is a moulded strip terminating in a hook. The main body is roughly figure-of-eight-shaped with a rivet hole in the centre of each roundel. Each roudel is decorated around the rivet hole with a moulded square and basic interlace mouldings, wound around the straight sides of the two squares.
