Fragment of a copper alloy terret ring dating from the early Roman period, probably 1st-2nd century AD.

Only the bottom quarter of the terret survives. The upper part of the loop is broken off and it is uncertain whether this may have been a plain or possibly a lipped or knobbed terret. The two mouldings at the base of the arms survive with some damage and the central bottom section does, too. Whilst the surviving arms of the loop have a circular cross section, the bottom section is flat and has a rectangular cross section. It is tapers to a flat point at the bottom.
