Head fragment from a lead figurine of post-medieval date (c. 1650 - 1800 AD). The object is hollow and in the form of a female with loose long hair and one arm raised. The arm is broken and not hollow. There is a triangular protrusion at the crown of the figure's head. The object is dark grey in colour with patches of a white patina. The object is 45.78mm in length, 27.34mm in width and 20.78mm in thickness. It weighs 27.64g.
There are numerous similar examples of post-medieval figurines recorded on the database, reflecting a resurgence of Classical imagery in this period.
