A complete cast copper-alloy annular brooch dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1400. The brooch is composed of a sub-circular frame, a constriction on one edge retaining a wound-wire pin. The upper surface demonstrates eight raised collets, inset with alternately off-white stones and green glass inlays. Between each collet, the frame points outwards in a squat triangular lobe-each lobe demonstrating a stamped circular dimple at its centre. Preserved in good condition with an uneven brownish patina, it measures 25.21mm in diameter, c. 4.09mm thick at the collects, c. 1.6mm thick at the recessed portions of the frame, and weighs 3.07g.
