A complete copper alloy Coin Weight of Post Medieval date (AD 1619-1634). The weight is of James I 'angel' type coin weight. Obverse : X◦S (denoting ten shillings) in central field with large crown above within circular border. There is a small crowned 'J' in top left corner (James 1st). Reverse depicts St Michael with angel wings slaying a dragon within circular border.

The metal has a pitted dark brown patina.
