A fragment of a copper alloy Bracelet of Roman date (AD 250-410). One terminal is missing however the retained portion has hook, this is therefore a hook and eye type. The object has an abraded transverse break resulting the loss of a large portion of the hoop and the fastening eye. The hoop is rectangular in section and decorated with two motifs the portion toward the transverse break has a stamped ring and dot motif. The portion towards the retained hook has a series of transverse ribs. There is a raised step running transverse above the tapering recurved hook.
The metal has a dark brown and green colour with a pitted patina.
