Medieval (late 13th to mid-15th centuries) composite strap end: The strap end is a sub-rectangle in plan which tapers slightly and the narrow terminal is pointed with a knop at the apex. The strap end is made up of two copper alloy sheets divided by a copper alloy spacer. The strap end is undecorated. The surface of the strap end has a corroded mottled dark green-grey patina.
