An incomplete copper-alloy handle of a Roman spoon, with handle offset and a very tiny stub of bowl. Measuring 55mm in length, 4mm in width and 3mm in thickness. The handle is rectangular in cross-section, and tapers to a possible break at its terminal tip. The bowl end of the handle is wider there is a small projection above the wide thin curved handle offset. the handle offset has traces of a white-metal coating on both faces but no other decoration. A minute stub of bowl survives at the end of the handle offset.
