Fragment of copper alloy sheet with two rivets, probably part of a medieval buckle plate, with all edges broken, apart from a rectangular re-entrant that may be an incomplete pin slot. Decoration consists of transverse and longitudinal lines of finely executed interrupted rocker-arm engraving giving the appearance of tiny addorsed triangles, and of a transverse row of Y-shaped motifs formed of the same. Extant dimensions 15 x 26mm. 13th - 14th century.
