Three rim fragments from copper-alloy cooking vessels, dating from Medieval to post medieval period c. AD 1100-1850.
The first fragment constitutes of an inner rim, whilst the outer surface is mostly flat. The fragment also appears to have been heavily burnt on the outside, whilst the inside maintains a mid-greenish appearance. The fragment is 35.4mm long, 37.1mm wide, 5.6mm thick and weighs 25.4g.
The second fragment has a more pronounced rim, which is evident on the outer and inner surface and is blackened all over. The fragment is 35.1mm long, 41.3mm wide, 6.5mm thick and weighs 25.2g.
The third fragment is much thinner than the first and second and most likely comes from a separate vessel. The rim can be seen from the outer surface, but the inner surface is flat. The fragment has an equal blackened appearance all over. The rim is 16.4mm long, 22mm wide, 2mm thick and weighs 3.4g.
