An incomplete copper alloy mount dating to c.1350 - 1400. The mount is a domed sexfoil . Each lobe is shaped on the outer edge and defined by incised line separating it from the adjacent lobes. At the centre is a central perforation through which a separate rivet would have attached the mount to a strap. The rivet is missing. The surface of the mount is decorated with six equally spaced radiating lines. The reverse is hollowed andretains traces of trimming to form the lobes
