A copper alloy bar-mount with two separate rivets dating to c.1350 - 1400. The mount has a convex, hemispherical cross section with transverse cable decoration of three incised grooves, two inner ridges have diagonally incised grooves. At each end is a knop with a rivet hole and a circular sectioned copper alloy rivet, both of which remain in place. The reverse is concave.
