A fragment of a post Medieval cast copper alloy seal top spoon, dating to c. 1550 to c. 1650. The top is a flat disc, below which the handle narrows and then expands into a baluster form comprising (with constrictions between) an upper, globular knop, a narrowed tapering knop, a wider tapering knop and two collars. The handle then narrows to an old break. There are patches of off-white concretion and an underlying green patina.
