An incomplete and water-worn post-medieval pipe clay wig curler dating to c. 1650-1800. It is cylindrical in shape with a bulbous terminal, measuring 10.1mm at the worn break and expanding to max.14.8mm in diameter. The terminal has a flattened end topped with a c.1.5mm thick end-cap, 8.9mm in diameter.
The object measures 32.1mm in incomplete length, max.14.8mm in width and thickness and weighs 6.62g.
