An early-Modern (c. 1800 - 1950) blue-glazed ceramic cube, a gaming piece for playing 'fivestones', 'knucklebones', 'alloy gobs' or 'alley cubes', a Victorian game similar to jacks. Two opposing faces are flat with a thick blue glaze. The remaining faces are white speckled with blue and decorated each with two deep parallel equidistant grooves.
The object measures 16.1mm in height, 17.1mm in width, 17.0mm in thickness and weighs 8.05g.
