A complete flint knife of Neolithic date. The knife has been made on a secondary flake of a mottled brown flint, retaining cortex over maybe a quarter of the dorsal surface. It is broadly triangular in plan with a low trapezoidal section. The knife retains the prominent bulb and part of the platform. The flake on which the knife is made is slightly curved. Invasive, overlapping soft-hammer retouch extends the entire length of the left dorsal edge while the opposing right edge has a small area of retouch around the tip but is otherwise un-retouched. Some use and / or post-depositional damage is evident.
