An incomplete lead post medieval cloth seal, dating from c. AD 1500-1700. The seal consists of two discs that have been pressed together,

On one side the seal is decorated with either a raised 'IX' or 'XI', with a circular rope border around.

The other disc is worn with a broken edge, In the centre the disc is decorated with a crowned portcullis. There are small parts of the circular beaded border still visible. The seal is a cream colour with patches of grey and white. It measures 18.2mm in length, 17.5mm in width, 3.3mm in thickness, and weighs 4.81g.
