Medieval sheet copper alloy end-cap from a scale-tang knife, pointed and rolled over into a hook at one end and rounded at the other, with a small perforation punched through from the inner, rust stained face. Length 23mm. Width 7mm. cf. NMS-8739E4 and Cowgill et al. 1987, no. 123. 14th-15th century.
