Incomplete medieval sheet copper alloy combination earscoop / toothpick with a twisted shank. The tip of the toothpick is missing. Very similar to examples from 14th-century contexts in London (Egan and Pritchard 1991, nos. 1758-61) and closest in size to no. 1758. Extant length 54.5mm. Width 5.1mm. Weight 1.32g.
It is interesting to note that objects of this form recorded on this database more commonly occur in silver than in copper alloy.
