A copper alloy Post Medieval heart shaped strap mount dating from AD 1550 - 1750. It has a bi-lobed top narrowing to a point at the bottom forming a narrow heart shape. On the reverse are two integral spikes to attach the mount to a strap; both are incomplete. It is 20.7mm long, 12.6mm wide and 4.4mm thick. 1.9g. Compare SUSS-94FAC4.
