Medieval copper alloy belt mount, 24mm in length, 11mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 2.9grams.
The mount consists of a sub-circular, hollow, dome with projections at opposing ends, housing holes for rivets. The mount is decorated with five recessed transverse lines over the dome with a dip in the centre enclosing a hole.The dome is 10mm in diameter and the projections 7mm each. The projections have a 4mm wide neck and 5mm diameter circular end housing the hole for a rivet.
