A heavily worn sherd of hand made probable mid Iron Age to early Romano-British ceramic vessel.
Description: The sherd is a body sherd and roughly triangular in shape. The fabric has an unoxidised outer surface and unevenly oxidised inner. The inclusions are common and a mix of common well sorted medium angluar grog inclusion, some spare mica spec inclusions, many of the inclusions have fallen out. The breaks are well rounded, likely due water action.
Measurements: 48.36mm wide, 56.27mm high, 7.66mm thick and 16.98g in weight.
