Silver charm, as kindly identified by the finder. A hollow sheet metal object in the form of a pointed slipper with a scaled surface on its upper and a smooth flat sole; fastenings are not represented though the front or vamp is high; the heel is lost. The surface texture was probably achieved with a stamp, and a former may also have been used to fashion the object. The thickness of the metal is comparable to that of other Victorian silverware reported. Suggested date: Post-Medieval to Modern, 1850-1950
