Copper alloy thimble. Conical pressed metal thimble with a foot ring, immediately above which the wall is occupied by close set circular machine stamped pits which appear to ascend the wall in diagonal rows from righty to left. The top is occupied by a rectilinear grid or lattice of larger indentations. Lightly squashed. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900
