Copper alloy buckle fragment. Cast pin and elongated U-shaped chape from a buckle with both mounted on a separate steel spindle. Thickly concreted sandy material adheres, possibly a result of burning or from the decay of an iron fitting. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1660-1720
