An incomplete cast copper-alloy pin, probably dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1200-1400). The pin consists of the surviving head and stem. The head is cuboid in shape with rounded edges and a rounded upper face. Extending from the base is a tapering stem that is rectangular in cross-section. The pin measures 28mm in length. The head is 6.5mm wide and 5mm thick. The stem has a maximum wide of 2mm and a thickness of 3mm. The pin weighs 3 grams.
