An incomplete, clipped and worn Medieval silver penny of Edward IV (first reign 1461-1470 or second reign 1471-1483), minted at York under Archbishop George Neville or Sede Vacante. Initial mark: missing.
(North 1991: 88, refs: 1594, 1595; 1599; 94, refs: 1645, 1650, 1651).
Obverse: EDWARD [DI GRA REX AnGL] (or similar); Crowned bust facing, G to left and key to right of neck.
Reverse: CI[VI/TAS/EBO]/RACI; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant, quatrefoil at centre of cross.
Diameter: 15.0mm. Weight: 0.72g. DA=12:6.
