A medieval cast copper-alloy strap-slide (strap-fitting). The frame is broadly pentagonal in plan with a wide flat base, rectangular-sectioned sides that slope outwards very slightly, and an angled peak in the centre of the top bar. The base is rectangular in cross section and the sides and top bar are trapeziodal, the inner sides being wider than the outer. There is a hole through the base of the frame, halfway along and off centre, from which the accompanying rivet is missing.
The frame is 18.72mm long at the base, widening to 19.69 mm at the top bar. It is 14.38 mm tall from the base to the peak, and 3.86 mm thick at the base. The piece weighs 1.61 g.
