A lead weight of Medieval or Post Medieval date, about AD 1350 - 1900. It is a circular weight, slightly bent, with two cast concentric circles in relief on one face. There is also an iron plug in the centre of the weight. A scored line across th decorated face may be post-depositional damage, or could be intentional. The weight is 33.6mm diameter, 6.4mm thick and has a mass of 46.6g. This is equivalent to one eighth of a Troy pound, or 30 pennyweights (Egan, 1998, page 302). Another weight of the same mass is NMS-2FB546. See also NMS-BBABCE and NMS-6F7E9E
