A cast Copper-alloy buckle frame of Early-Medieval date. It is oval shaped in form and circular in section with a slightly narrowed and straightened bar but missing the pin due to old breaks. The entire object measures 27.69mm in width/height, 19.04mm in length, 4.76mm in thickness, and weighs 7.62g. This buckle is similar in form to Marzinzik's Type I.10d-ii buckle frames (Marzinzik, 2003: pp. 31) and dates to the Early-Medieval period, c. 400-720 AD. The object is corroded and has a mid-green powdery surface. See: SF-3C3472, SF-93F0E, SF-5A7A56, and especially SF-93E684.
