A flat, conical lead alloy weight, 38.1mm in diameter and 75.0g (2.65 oz) in weight, with a flat base and a central pierced hole around 2.5mm in diameter which runs through the object. A stub of a copper alloy wire suspension loop remains at the apex. The surfaces are undecorated and there is some damage to one side of the object's edge.

Notes:

Possibly Roman, although the difficulties inherent in dating such objects when found in isolation means that a date window into the medieval is necessary.
