A flat, conical lead alloy weight, 38.1mm in diameter and 75.0g (2.65 oz) in weight, with a flat base and a central pierced hole around 2.5mm in diameter which runs through the object. A stub of a copper alloy wire suspension loop remains at the apex. The surfaces are undecorated and there is some damage to one side of the object's edge.

Possibly Roman, although the difficulties inherent in dating such objects when found in isolation means that a date window into the medieval is necessary.
