A Medieval silver coin; a cut half penny of Henry III (AD 1216 - 1272), Class II or IIIa dating from AD 1248 - 1250, minted by Richard at Lincoln. See North number 985/1 - 986 on page 226 of Volume I (1994). The coin is 17mm long, 08.2mm wide and 0.8mm thick. It weighs 0.57g.
