Complete iron key of probable late medieval or post-medieval date (c. 1300 - 1800 AD). The bow of the object is oval in shape and rectangular in section. The shank of the key is circular in section and the bit of the key is rectangular. Detailed assessment of the object is obscured by concretion caused by iron corrosion that covers its surface. The object is reddish-brown in colour. It is 140.93mm in length, 47.93mm at maximum width and 19.27mm in thickness. It weighs 148.02g.
