Copper alloy radiate of Carausius (AD 286-93) (Reece Period 14), IVSTITIA AVG, Justitia seated left on throne, holding (globe?) and vertical sceptre. C Mint, - // C. sceptre. RIC V, pt 2. Two other specimens of this general type are in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC, one with Justitia seated on a wheel, the other with her on a shield. This rare coin is therefore a new variety.
