Silver coin. Possibly a worn milled shilling of George III (1760-1820), and at all events a milled issue of c.1663-1800. Scant discernible original detail remains on either side, though a counter-stamp of four paired lobes of petals, diameter 3.5mm, appears on the reverse and the mark from its striking carries through to the other.
Obverse description: Possibly a bullnecked bust right, as a faint impression.
