A cast Iron-age potin of the Kent Region / Cantiaci, dating to the period c.150-100 BC, Thurrock MA (Kentish Primary Series) type. Obverse: Helmeted head of Apollo left. Reverse: Stylised butting bull right and traces of MA above. There is an oval shaped hole to one side of the flan that although demonstrating very worn edges appears to be a piercing rather than a casting flaw. As ABC, p.33 No 120; VA 1406.
