Description: a medieval silver pin, probably from an annular brooch. The pin has a circular loop at the terminal, in the centre of a rectangular flat collar. A pin shank of tapering lozenge section extends from the other side of the collar.

Dimensions: Length: 33 mm. Width: 7 mm. Thickness: 3 mm. Weight: 2.29 g.

Discussion: the form of the pin is often seen on annular brooches of the period, for instance Nannerch, Flintshire (PAS ref. LVPL-443B7C), and Bishop Burton, East Riding of Yorkshire (PAS ref. YORYM-96C42D).
