An Iron Age copper alloy gold-plated quarter stater of the Southern British Iron Age (associated with the tribes known as the Atrebates, Regini and Belgae), of uncertain type. The reverse horse is similar to the 'Petersfield Wreath Face' type (ABC 773) but with a beaded (not ladder) mane, annulets (not pellets) in the field and a wheel below and before (not below and above). Dating to 65-40 BC.
